    Hi all

    Looking for a new quarter turn tap. Where can I buy a really cheap one. Only need one for the utility sink - nothing special. Wpodies is €40 for 2. Mad. Thanks all.

    I don't think 40 for a pair is mad money but I'd have my doubts about the quality of something like this from Woodies.

    Try a trade counter. Chadwicks, Heatmerchants, Davis, DPD etc.

    Woodies is Irish and is a good DIY store so I wouldn't want to say anything bad about them. There are some things that you shouldn't buy there though

    Oh I’m happy to say bad things about them. Outrageously overpriced. Went to B&Q in Liffey Valley and Mr. Price is Rathfarnham recently. Both of them so much cheaper than woodies for a whole range of products, and with better selection. Woodies is just unfortunately closer to me.

    I’m not sure being ‘Irish’ Is god enough anymore but I take your point.
