Pump for mains fed electric shower

The plumber who replaced the boiler last year told me I could improve the pressure from my Triton T80i shower with a pump as with the low water pressure since last year the shower is unusable when the mains pressure is reduced at night time.

Could I just attach a pump to draw water from the immersion tank and fed it to the shower? Or maybe replace the shower with a newer one in the hope it's going to generate more power?

    Thanks in advance.

Triton t80i is obsolete. It'll need to be replaced soon anyway. You might be able to get it repiped so that the feed comes from the attic tank rather than the mains. Then you can install a triton t90sr pumped electric silent shower. This will be a lot cheaper than installing a decent pump.

The immersion tank is for hot water. You will need to tap into the cold water tank in the attic. There is a mains pump but it's around 500 euros and your t80i will still need to be replaced

Thanks for that, will have to ask a plumber to call in and give me a quote for that then.
