I'm off to Listowel for the day tomorrow so won't be online which I'm sure a few of you will be happy about, but thought I'd stick up my bets now.

1.50 Listowel, Scaglietti. Near enough even money on the exchange at the minute. Granted the market is not liquid but if money is fed in slowly it gets matched. I can't see this get beat tomorrow. This is my banker of the day. I've backed it on the exchange already and if I can get 4/5 on-course tomorrow I'll snap it up. The horse should be about 1/3

2.00 Brighton, Normal Equilibrium. I'll be laying this tomorrow. The price is a bit on the biggish at around 3.85 but will lay regardless. To me a good price to lay is about 3.5 so hopefully it comes in a bit, but I can't see it winning.

5.45 Wolverhampton, Awsaaf. Around 11/10 with a few bookies, backing this to win. I have this priced up around 4/7, the reason being I'm not liking the butler horse at all.

Finally, 6.00 Windsor, Golden Horde. Odds on around 1.95 on the exchange, decent 4th last time out but I have the feeling it might need another run or 2 before it goes in. This is a lay for me.

Mill Quest should really win the 3:50 Listowel under a 5lb penalty

Its a weaker field compared to what Mill Quest has been up against last few starts and I think elliots mare will take all the beating

Few thoughts on the Gowran card.

In the 2.35 race, the fav Annie Fior has had a load of racing so far this season and gone up massively in the weights, is still holding her form well enough but she's surely now vulnerable to something with bit more scope for improvement. One I landed on was Mary Salome at around 13/2, maiden form looks relatively smart and enjoys a 3yo allowance in weights today. Failed to show form on seasonal debut but much better on second start when staying on well to beat a decent field over a furlong shorter at Limerick, step back up to 7f on ground with a bit of cut looks ideal and Hayes keeps the ride. It's an open race but thought she should be competing for favoritism and a decent EW bet for me.

Rest of card looked a bit of a nightmare, reckon Kudbegood (3.05) is up to winning a race off this mark but around 9/1 looks just about the right price from a wide draw. Pepperoni Pete (4.35) looks by far the most solid option and is getting to be a borderline bet at 11/4, if it were to drift north of 3/1 I will probably be obliged to have something on. Spent a good while on the 4.05 but absolutely no idea whatsoever.

The two Willie Mullins odds on favourites in the first two races at Listowel look nasty enough.

Scaglietta hasn't run since last October, 4/7 shot.

Fast Buck already a twice beaten favourite available at 1/3 in the second.

    Be careful out there.

    Both win

    Closutton hugger, keep it up.

I would do the same again and so should you.

    Keep up the results service.

One bet i didn't put up, I was waiting to see if there was any money for it.

3.00 Brighton, Barritus, I've backed this to win. Around 11/8 on the exchange. I don't rate the second fav.

    Good luck

Mark Brisbourne final runners before retirement in the 7.45 at Wolverhampton tonight. Has two in it, Manfadh and Clive Clifton. Have bet CC a few times in past and definitely up to winning a race like this but is a bit of a hound, other one looks more solid, either way these final runners for trainers have an amazing knack of winning.

Have bet Mawde in next at Windsor, big class dropper and drifted to a very backable price at around 16/1.

Definitely my last post today :)

Would want to drop a few more grades on that evidence (definitely my last post)

I was on mary salome myself but it got messed about in first few furlongs, its getting very frustrating watching jockeys cutting in without looking and causing interference, hopefully there will be a crackdown soon.
