A friend has a 2007 Hiace 2.5D4D which ran out of fuel it seems .
Now it refuses to start .
Tried sucking diesel through and pushing fuel through but I think I once read that a D4D can be very difficult to get going if air gets into the system.
The primer on top of filter housing doesn't seem to do anything .
Any ideas , suggestions greatly appreciated.

You might need to delete a fault code before it’ll start.

Open all 4 injectors 3/4 of a turn. Crank for 10s, stop for 30s, crank for 10s.

    Tighten up all injectors

Crank for 10s to so and it should start
