I eat burgers because they taste nice rather than to “sock it” to some perceived enemy.

    McDonald's double cheeseburger.

Walked past iskanders in dame st yest and big poster in window saying “Ireland’s favourite burger” or something along those lines.

Anyone know what that’s about? I’ve never seen anyone even order a burger there.

No veggie or chicken burgers allowed? What???

Oh wait, its run by a meat company. I don't eat cow so must bow out of the race.

Thunder Road Cafe in Dublin won best burger in a restaurant last year??

    Christ!

That thing last year was a load of Sh*te

Everyone knows that the BEST Burger is Bunsen Double Cheese Burger.

    Except it's not.
    Best burger is Bunsen hamburger.
    Double is unbalanced.
Cheese adds nothing to a burger (controversial!).

Best burger is from the Gala in Drumshanbo.

It'd be like ordering a kebab from burgerking.

While I respect your opinion I disagree with it.

I am substantial, double burger is required

Also, I'm sorry to here you're lactose intolerant, cause cheese is a must on a Burger.

If you're that hungry eat two hamburgers.
It's all about the balance of bun, meat and (simple) toppings. Bunsen hamburger is almost perfect in this sense except I'd like the pattie squished a touch thinner.

Clearly, no point in arguing with you about the cheese.

If you're that hungry eat two hamburgers.

But now my bread to meat ratio is completely off and then I'm fooked for the rest of the day.
    Why would I do that?
Clearly, no point in arguing with you about the cheese.

If I was at a BBQ and someone presented me with a Burger with No Cheese, I'd have to call the Guards, and I'm not even messing.

Yeah a bit but it's the same owner as Rick's burger so it's probably the same as that. Which is pretty good imo.

That's a Dublin thing and near impossible to get a half good batter burger outside Dublin never mind a wurley

    more edgy than controversial.

A blue cheese melt can do wonders to a burger.

the west kerry burger from the reel fish dingle is the best burger out there and is not on the list so I am not voting

    Feck off!
Cheeseburger, I'd eat if no hamburger available.
Blue cheese, particularly melted, can feck right off.

    Best burger in Kerry

Rick's real burgers at the bottom of Georges Street.

Looks so dodgy, but the burgers are excellent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,516 ✭✭✭Wheety

No option to add your own nomination? They don't have Wow Burger, The Counter or even Rick's on dame Street.

unless this is one of those food things where you have to pay to be included?

Just reading up on it and a business has to register themselves to be included and have to offer the 2 for 1 deal.

No Bunsen, but there's a Burger King on the list? Shenanigans...

    🤪

Voted. It's a tad confusing...do you have to have a burger eatery in order to win the trip to Vegas?

Plus the list to to vote from is rather poor and limited. No Bunsen, Bobo, Wowburger, Five Guys, Ricks etc etc ...

Now I'm hungry for a burger!!

Ok folks so I was walking past earlier and here is what I’m talking about.

“Ireland’s favourite burger” what’s the story is it worth trying ? Has anyone tried it.

    You are wrong about that.
    My answer is right.
