If I buy a second-hand 30 kwh leaf with incomplete service history does that mean that the battery warranty by Nissan is void?

What are the basic equirements to keep the battery warranty valid.

I think a yearly stamp in the book.

Very low chance you’ll need the battery warranty.

I’d be more interested in the general drivetrain warranty rather than the battery. It’s the same warranty I think.

    Inverter, charger, charge ports etc.

Will it be fair to say that if a second-hand leaf has an incomplete service record it is better to walk away because essentially it is not covered by Nissan under their terms?

Depends on the time between services. Most manufactures will have +/- variations for service intervals.

For example, BMW have a +/- 1500 km from memory.

Maybe a call to Nissan and discuss would be good. Have the complete history to hand if you can.
