Yes - you'll have the Ford Mis-Fuel prevention system on that car, so anything going in to the fuel tank either has to come from the correct fuel pump, or in through the funnel that should be somewhere in the car.

Might be somewhere around the spare wheel or inflation kit - usually white.

Safer for you, to get somebody with a bit more mechanical acumen, to do this technical job for you!

I'd something like this in my car.

Presume you could get one from the local ford garage. Maybe a breakers?

Mine came in a zip lock bag. Keeps the smell down.

I made similar by cutting a bit of garden hose and attached it to a funnel. The nozzle from a petrol/diesel pump just pushes a flap out of the way, a length of hose will do the same job.

That’s, not, very, helpful, advice, really, now, is, it?

Any ford dealer can supply the funnel OP, if you can’t find it in the car. Or try a standard flexi-funnel from a motor factors, the type with the long corrugated neck.

Ford's "Easy-Fuel" system. You need a special funnel for it, I got one from a local Ford dealer recently enough for well under a tenner, but it had to come from Cologne so it took a few days. Note also that they're available in petrol and diesel versions.

Got one from Spirit Ford Parts dept in Sandyford a couple of year ago. They had them in stock at the time and only cost a couple of €s...
