Serious Illness Cover Question

    Hi folks im currently paying 38 euro a month for this im 52 and its coming to the end of its 10 year run, Im conisdering to continue this for another 10 years but there looking for nearly double what im paying now, this is all without a Medical Check Up,So i wont have to do this ?

    Just wondering what your thoughts are on this its 100% rise here

    Sounds like you have a reviewable policy. Lots of info missing like sum insured etc.

    Your first port of call should be to an independent/impartial financial adviser or planner. Do you still need the cover? Do you have the original policy document? - potential that the specified illness definitions are "loose" and so may be easier to claim on.

    If you're in good health and still have a need for cover a new policy may be better value but you won't get a definitive answer off strangers on the internet

    its for €30,000 serious illness cover and €15,000 life cover
