Social welfare disability income threshold

A person I know is on a social welfare disability payment. She is unable to work however, she is very keen to work in an environment that is suitable for her. She also receives social welfare cover for her medication, she merely pays (I think) €0.50 per set of tablets.

The question is, if she took up employment,

    1. What is the threshold of earnings that the weekly disability payment will be affected?

    2. What is the threshold of earnings that the cover for medication will be affected?

She is keen to enter the workforce however, if the cover of medication is removed coupled with a reduction of disability payment, she could find herself working difficult hours and left struggling to pay for her medication.

I am just trying to get a sense of what the best option is for this person considering her health long term.

Thank you in advance for your advise.
