Virgin Media Router issue

    We are having problems with VM Routers. The one we come across mostly is the 3.0 hub.

    We connect 2 POE cameras via POE switch to a customers account in the workshop on our own routers (digiweb) ( vodafone) ( fritz box) . They work perfectly fine and then we transfer to the customers home where he has a new VM connection via 3.0 hub. When we access the customer account on our laptop which is connected via wifi to the VM hub it works perfectly but when we access the account via cellular or from workshop one camera drops off . Another issue with the VM hub is that it will not allow us to access the hub via ethernet cable. The two issues may not be connected. Of course VM help desk is useless using standard get out of jail card GDPR

    That router is a ball of issues, I have it installed last week since then ive had no internet we had an old Cisco modem I would google the model but my internet is to slow at the moment, my father also has a CCTV solution in his home and is having the same issue as you mentioned.

    I'm tired of the latency issues with the virgin media hub and I read that alot of people are using the hub to function as modem only and using a separate router.
    Is there any documentation online that explains how to do this?

    Bridging doesnt fix the ****ty latency.
