    Hi
Looking for some advice on whether it would be worth applying for disability allowance. I have no medical issues other than Anxiety and Depression, which are severe. I Have been suffering now for 5 years and I attend counselling and take medication for it. I am improved from what I was at my worst but I still suffer daily, and I feel im extremely restricted. I work part time in a supermarket, I feel working helps me but Im unable to work full time due to my condition.

The main question I have is if Im already working part time would they even consider an application from me as most who apply are saying they are unable to work.

Any advice on whether it would be worth applying for would be appreciated. 😀

Yes, by all means apply for it. I was told they are hesitant to approve claims for mental health issues first time round but if they deny your claim ask citizens advice to help you appeal.
