Trees and double decker buses

Anyone been upstairs at the front of one of our new double decker buses in Galway lately? Great to have the big buses - loads of space - but then, SpLaT, the front windscreen gets hit straight on by branches of a tree. I guess someone has not thought of this yet (in Galway City Council?) - if you've got the higher buses, you've got to cut the tree branches more!

Shsssssh! If you tell Galway City Council they'll chop down the whole tree.

Yeah, I sit upstairs sometimes on Dublin Road, and suddenly BANG, the bus has hit a branch..

This is usually worse when it rains as branch becomes weighed down.

db have their own open top bus that cut these they are out in the summer months.

And that's gas to see. An open double decker overflowing with trees and branches. But it gives the exact point of impact .
