I just finished 4th year in college and im looking for work now. Im about to apply for jobseekers and was wondering why the rate is reduced for a qualified adult? I obviously have my degree now, so why would i recieve less than the unqualified adult?

A qualified adult is your spouse or partner or other adult dependant who isn't claiming jobseekers in their own right but 'qualifies' as a dependant on your claim. It has nothing to do with academic qualifications.

Did you apply for any jobs in your field
My daughter finished after 5 years and done her masters
She applied for a few jobs and was lucky enough to get 2 offers

Once you get the big €203 in your palm each week you will wondering what you were doing going to uni in the first place. :D:)

School leavers don’t get €203. If your parents have enough income you’ll get nothing.
