Hello, So ive recently bought a second hand vw polo 1.2 09 and after the purchase I realized the car doesn't contain either a service book or owners manual does anyone know where can I find a replacement one for the car. I'm a new driver so I didn't know about these should of done more research. The owners manual is the main thing I'm looking for as I cannot seem to find one online or I think I'm just looking in all the wrong places, thanks in advance appreciate any help

    Which model is it?
The one on the left is a MK4, made until 2009, and the right hand one is MK5 from 2009 onwards

Volkswagen UK website has full manuals online for recent cars, possibly yours too.

    eBay a good source too...

It is the one on the left ! 2009 reg
I litterally have no clue about this and want this book to learn about the car so it won't cost me a fortune

Then the one on the VW UK website will be for a newer car, as they only do cars back to 2011.
As above, Ebay is probably your best bet, or try Adverts.ie etc

    And when I'm getting a manual am I looking for 05-09 one or a 09-14 one ?

If it's the one on the left, then it's the MK4. By the way, I said from 2005. My mistake. It's from 2001-2009 for the MK4

When you say you want to learn about the car so it won't cost a fortune, is it the owners handbook you are looking for, or a service/repair manual?

The owners handbook just shows the layout of the car, where things are located, what buttons do what etc

Well both but I need to know what all the car parts are and do, I'm currently trying to figure out why the indicators are not making the clicking noise

Might be worth trying a local scrapyard/breaker to see if they have any Polos of that model and if they have a handbook.
The indicator issue seems to be reasonably common on them and its a speaker inside the dash that goes. Not the simplest repair if you arent used to working on cars.

What I would advise is joining some VW or Polo internet forums or Facebook groups and you'll find tons of stuff from people who have already come across issues etc

By the way, here is one link to the speaker issue for the indicators anyway
