URBAN NOMAD EDGELORDS ON BICYCLES BUT NOT IN BICYCLE LANES

I swear to phuck I'm nearly assassinated by edgelord urban nomad cyclists two or three times a week. I've had these uber dudes and their spacelord gormless female counterparts career into me around corners, cut across inches in front of me on footpaths, tear at my phuckin heels as they 'expertly' control their 'vehicles' along busy footpaths winding in and between pedestrians, or ring their bells aggressively from behind me asking me to give way on a *pedestrian street* usually with a jansport bag on their back, with mirror shades and maybe a bandana.

CAN U PHUCKIN PEOPLE USE THE BICYCLE LANES AND PHUCKIN ROADS PLS???!!

I run the gauntlet every day with motorists driving in cycle lanes, cutting me off the road without indicating, opening doors directly in my path and a dozen other life threatening manoeuvres.


I don't cycle but is this the type of thing one is supposed to reply with.

I don't drive or cycle. Is it too much to ask for knobjockeys on two wheels to not 'almost' hit me when I'm minding my own business on the footpath?? I feel like I'm supposed to be a babysitter for these fools. Either go super slow on footpaths and take care of pedestrians OR go on the phuckin road. I genuinely have no idea what this thread is about. So far I have discerned that it has something to do with cycling. I presume edgelord and spacelord are some sort of slang words and god knows what an urban nomad is supposed to be.

As a pedestrian in Ireland, I was nearly hit by car drivers not paying attention far more often than cyclists. Both could pay a hell of a lot more attention, yet for all their complaining about each other they never acknowledge they could do better themselves.

All cyclists should be just ran into the sea. Just make everything else a cycle lane because you know then they won't ****ing use it.

Only a matter of time before private cars are completely banned in urban areas. Cycling will be the most efficient way of getting round cities, as climate change forces countries into policies that are currently considered almost unthinkable
