    Hi,

Please excuse me lack of technical knowledge.

I'm currently and eir customer and after waiting a month for them to get back to me about changing my package I am giving up.

I just have a simple business package with one line and broadband. I want to change to someone else (vodafone etc)

My router is configured for security cameras for remote monitoring which I know involved opening ports etc. (This is where I get lost)

I presume if I change provider they send me a new router which will need setting up like the old one. Is it possible to change proivder and just keep the router etc as is and save this hassle?

    Thanks

Eir will charge you for the router, if you do not return it.

    /M
