Think he was very talented (but daft as a brush). Like a UK version of Robin Williams. Watch this https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=freddie+starr+speed+up&view=detail&mid=EF62D036FF2525964EB8EF62D036FF2525964EB8&FORM=VIRE

Didn't that thing once boast about microwaving an ex girlfriends cat to death.

    Sick degenerate bastard.

I agree, that cat ruined a perfectly good microwave.

He was an unbelievable talent, one of the funniest comedians ever. Today's pc world ensures there is very little about his passing. Such a shame, he was crazy to watch on stage, great memories..

I reckon that might be more to do with a legal finding against him regarding the sexual assault of a 15-year-old.

I'm surprised Ali didn't release a statement of condolences. Their moment on Parkinson was classic.

No criminal prosecution or finding against him

I see the Daily Mail were quick off the blocks with their hachet job, died naked and bloated , disheveled reduced to singing karaoke penniless etc .

Mentions the Yewtree questioning and says that the label stuck to him, quotes ex partners about infidelity etc.

Really horrible piece, Im not condoning anything that he did but jasus its some hit piece on him.

The great thing about modern media,is that the likes of the Daily Mail are rapidly show up has having few,if any Journalistic Staff capabable of understanding the human condition,in all of it's facets.

Modern Print Journalism appears to be based largely upon Totalitariansim and unflinching deference to the need to be appalled by our Human Condition.

    Never liked him

13 or so women came forward to make allegations against him but never charged as insufficient evidence.

Always thought he was stealing a living. Not at all funny.

More stories emerging in the papers today

He was not a pleasant man to put it mildly

One can only hope that the people that are so quick to assume allegations as guilt are never themselves in a situation where they are falsely accused of something.

Just hopping on a bandwagon to appear virtuous. The "good guys"

    It disgusts me.

The stories yest were about his ex wife saying how awful a man he was to her over many years.

What disgusts me is how much of a scumbag he seems to have been. Always suspected it over the years.
