Turas Nua STEA self-employment

    Hi, I don't know where else I can ask for help. I cannot find even one single information on this matter.

    At the moment I plan to open my own business. I applied a month ago for Short Term Enterprise Allowance as soon as I received my Jobseekers Benefit. This is the general rule for STEA, I have to be on Jobseekers Allowance I also had to write a business plan.
    Some time ago after few days of being on JB I got letter from Turas Nua inviting me to a meeting. When I got there it turned out that I was paused from it, because I was waiting for the decision for STEA, whether I was accepted or not.

    Last week I got accepted for Short Term Enterprise Allowance. To my surprise today I also received a second letter from Turas Nua again inviting me to come to a meeting. Please tell me what on earth they want from me now if I am about to run my own business? Can they do that? Is there anything I can do to avoid it? Please, please help me, because this is so ridiculous. Thank you for your reply.

    If you can go to the meeting, do, but if not, write back to Turas Nua giving them the background and enclosing a copy of your acceptance for STEA. Keep a copy of your letter. Would recommend forking out and sending the letter by registered post.
