    Evening all,
Just a quick one, I have two pot belly pigs I keep around the yard just as pets, noticed lately they have got a bit of flaky skin down the ridge of their backs, I'm presuming lice , would spot on clear them up or can anyone recommend anything for it? I was thinking the 5ml dose couldn't do them any harm but the packaging says nothing about pigs just sheep and cattle, injecting them would be difficult because even tho I have them 7 or 8 years their mad as a bag of cats lol

Thanks for any help or advice

I used to breed Tamworths and we kept a V pot belly as a pet. Sometimes she would get scaly dry skin along her spine and I used to rub it off with a stiff bristle brush which she loved. I would then put sudocreme on her back and it solved it.
TBH I never had to use a pour-on on them as they never had any issues with lice or ticks. They were outdoor free range pigs.

Ivomec is licensed for pigs but afaik only the injection and not the pour-on.
Maybe Greysides will come along with advice or you could phone your Vet and ask.
