Worn PVC door locking part. Name? Source?

    The attached photo is a part on a door frame. The locking mechanism on the door engages with this part to lock the door. The part is badly worn away and needs replacement. Doesn't lock properly.

    Any idea what the part is called?
    Or where I might purchase one?

    I have been repairing pvc windows and doors for 20years and that part looks fine. when you say the door isnt locking correctly what problems are you having

    AArrgghh. Dumb.

    That photo is of a good thingy.
    This is the worn one!! There are two on the frame - top and bottom.
    Top OK and bottom one worn.

    Try " upvc keep plate strike mushroom" or more simply "upvc keep plate"
