Hi guys, I'm a bit lost here.

I borrowed a family members Silver 97 Mazda Bongo and parked at my house last night in Stocking Wood Copse, Knocklyon. Missing this morning.

Please let me know if you spot it, they are rare enough. Will add a photo.

Hope your family member is not too hard on you about it. Unusual yoke to steal these days. Doubt it was stolen for a joyride either. Must be laying up somwhere.

It's the perfect thing to steal if you're into taking other people's vehicles. Japanese imports weren't factory fitted with key-based immobilisers like European cars after a certain date, so they were soft targets essentially. I'm guessing the vehicle didn't have an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser fitted or it was bypassed when they hot-wired it.

Update - the van was found by Gardai but seems to be in bad shape. Thanks for the support
