Hi, out driving tonight and my indicator light woudlnt switch off on the dashboard. I realised that the indicator lights on the right hand side(front, back and side) of the car was lit up gold and won't now turn off even with the engine off. Anybody have any ideas what the problem is ? My battery will more then likely drain now over night and being the bank holiday I won't get to my mechanic until Tuesday at earliest. I have breakdown assistance but the car is still drivable(for now). My car is an 06 opel Corsa with no previous major problems

    Thanks in advance

Have you left the indicator stalk on when you turned off the car? German cars stay lit on the side you left on.

Checked that to make sure and have turned it on and off with all the lights a few times in frustration. Stays on no matter what.

    Found this on a forum,

The problem is a stuck indicator relay, if all the left hand indicator bulbs are on. There are two fitted in the under bonnet relay box, one for LH side and one for the RH side. The left hand indicator relay is position 15 in the box. A quick check is to swap the RH side relay over and see if fault moves to RH side. The RH relay is position no 16.

Pop the negative terminal off your battery and it won't drain. Reconnect to drive and disconnect when parking till you get it to a mechanic.
