Hi all. Never used a forum like this before. Maybe someone here can help me please. I want to fit a motorised valve or even just an open/close gate valve at my copper cylinder to isolate my rads so I can heat just hot water only for the summer months. Any idea which particular pipe coming from the cylinder feeds the rads ?? My system is a maze of pipes. I took a few photos but can’t see where to upload them on this site.

Upload photos to some photo sharing site and post link here or PM the links to me and I'll post them.

"If you get the pics please disregard all the lovely labels placed on the copper pipes, they were here when we moved in & they’re all wrong as far as I can see. There’s also a motorised valve there too, it’s not wired in & it does absolutely nothing when I open or close it. Thanks again"

Only the upstairs is branched in this photo as far as I can see, possibly the downstairs is braced somewhere closer to the boiler?

Thanks very much for replying to me. Sorry, I have absolutely no idea what you mean. I can’t understand the ‘branching’ or ‘bracing’ and wouldn't know where to start looking, sorry about that. I think it’s time I got a plumber in to do the job, it’s proving far too much for my simple mind. Thanks again. Sean
