Can I ask, if Quirke was charged with the murder of Bobby Ryan, how come he was able to get the train up each day to the murder trial. Did he get bail from the high court? That was a great prime time tonight.

Being charged doesn't mean you guilty. There was no evidence not a lot more they could do besides put him on bail. I assume if they had evidence he would have been held in jail until trial.

I disagree. I was under the impression only a high court could give bail for murder

District court can't give bail for murder charge, he was granted high court bail in March 2017.

Yea sorry he was arrested and held in custody, not sure what happened in the district court then. They hardly let him out on bail.

Not sure why he was bouncing between both courts..

Its because the District court can't give bail on a murder charge. He would have been remanded in custody by the district court judge, and then applied for and was granted bail in the high court in March 2017 up until he was taken into custody this afternoon.

I didn't see prime time. Was there any mention of the Polish guys Wife, I still don't understand why she didn't testify, I thought she was going to from what I was hearing all along. We might have got to the truth of what happened.
