Cleaning alloys

Iv got brake dust that won't budge from my alloys, what's a good product homemade or shop bought that would shift it ? Tried scrubbing with warm soapy water and toothbrushes, steel wool etc but it won't budge

If nothing else works, Id use kkd devils juice. Best cleaner I’ve ever used for stubborn stains. Just make sure to rinse wheel very well after use and don’t use it every clean as it’s acid and not very good for alloy surface. Maybe try bilt hamber alloy cleaner first as it’s not as aggressive a cleaner.

Thanks boardsie, where would u purchase this ? Heard oven cleaner works well too ? Not too worried about damaging the alloy as they are old just in need of a clean

CarPro Iron X is very good for shifting brake dust.

Thanks , i used mr muscle ovencleaner let them soak for 10 mins and scrubbed . Heard they damage alloy but there up brand new and I made sure to get all the cleaner off and sealed them ")

I bought mine from polishing technologies ireland. They deliver also.
