No payment today.

    Went into post office today to collect my social welfare payment. (Supplementary allowance) of 109.10 to be told of no payment.

    Rang dole office to be told it was suspended and they didnt know more than that. Told to contact my cwo. But hes not in office again until tues.

    She asked me was i working and i truthfully said no. She was all like oh maybe someone reported something.

    Im weak and i mean weak from depression as it is but i went so weak it took me ages to gather the energy and start the car.

    I look into my wallet now to see 2.63cent exactly. Thats all i have to my name until god nos when. If i get it at all.

    Is life even worth this agro? Has anyone been in my position before?

    There must be someone else in the office to help with your query. I would chase this up hard and not be fobed off.

    This hardly affects the post office. Is this not just for banks and people getting their social welfare paid into there bank accounts.

    Citizens Information http://centres.citizensinformation.ie/ may also be able to make a call for you to the SW office and find out what is going on.
