Hi all, looking for recomendations for Antibes in France early June...
    Good Hotels.
    Things to watch out for.
    That kinda thing....

Just a couple travelling no kids.
    Into food and wine.

    Thanks

Do you mind if I ask how long you will be staying in Antibes ? Reason I ask is there isn’t a whole lot to do there in my experience. Very good restaurants, the odd museum / art gallery and the town being nice enough to stroll around really is it. A day trip kind of place, it’s small, very small.

Even though it will be high season I’d rather for ease of access to amenities, other costal towns and inland too / sights and transport look at basing yourself in Nice itself, more varied nightlife, variety of restaurants, transport links etc.

Was just about to post something similar.

I agree with you that Nice is a great base for visiting up and down the coast. Best I think anyway, but maybe OP wants to be in an upmarket spot near Cannes. Fair enough, but having spent a lot of time down that neck of the woods, the areas like Antibes, Juan les Pins and Beaulieu S mer etc, and so on are great for a short visit, but I think I would be bored after a couple of days.

We've stayed a couple of times in Domain Juan Flore in Juan Les Pins, it's a nice complex, decent accommodation is expensive in this area in the summer,
There is a very cheap bus service to get you in & out of Antibes & to Cannes, Nice is about 30 minutes away by train, I think it's a lovely spot, there is a really nice vibe in the old town of Antibes in the summer
