    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

"The people can't afford bread diesel cars? Let them have cake EVs!"

Special deal with additional subsidy from the state for people below a certain income threshold. Topped up by an extra discount from Nissan (a French company after all - illegal state funding for companies is something they keep trying in fresh shapes or forms so it seems)

And we think our Paddy spec cars are bad? This Leaf is worse. It is battery owned and it does not even come with a standard charging cable, just a granny cable. It does have CHAdeMO DC fast charging though

    Linky

Yet, If I would live in France and qualify for a brand new Leaf at €16,990, I'd bite their hand off. How would you finance it if you were poor though? Maybe they can deduct a fiver a week from your dole? :D
