Money deducted from my account without permission

    Hi guys,
    I signed up with a personal trainer online a month ago and paid for that mo the.
    On the form I filled in it didn't say anything about a direct debit.
    The money has been taken out of my account for month two even though I didn't consent to this.
    I've asked for a refund and been told it's coming but it's been two weeks and nothing
    Do I have a leg to stand on or can anyone suggest next steps?

    Ring your bank and they’ll reverse the direct debit.

    Block the DD and request a reverse under SEPA rules to get the money back. Presumably if they have said they will refund they are not making any claim to have a valid contract and that should be the end of it
