Newcastle 3:55 - Amazed to see that Diodorus is the outsider of the field here and is priced as high as 25/1 in what looks to me to be a very average class four race tomorrow. This fella wasn't good enough to make the grade for Aidan, but it's lightly raced, has some decent form, and is running at just 85. If it runs anywhere near to previous form, then the 25/1 is just far, far too big.

Interesting to see Ruby is having another crack on his father's horse in the second at Naas tomorrow. Ruby did 10st 4 on the first run, 10st 3 on the second run (the lowest weight he did in the last year apparently) and is now down to 10st 2 tomorrow. Horse was only beaten into second by a neck on the first run by Soniayla which is favourite tomorrow. Perhaps the 2lb less it carries tomorrow from that run can make the difference? Worth a small bet at 10/1 for a bit of interest.

I’ve been tracking him for a while Francie but he has run like a pig in the UK so far.

The draw advantage at the Lincoln meeting at Naas seemed massive for those drawn low, looking at some of the markets today and it does not seem to be reflected in prices

Aurora Eclipse 28-1 PP 4 Places
    &
Lord Rapscallion 30-1 PP 4 Places

    Same race 5.50 Nass

Both young horses with room to improve, both have run decently in their few starts thus far
Both have a win and 3 places. I think they can both compete for a place if not more.

Betsy Trotter looks big to me at 40s in the 5.50 at Naas. Any of the flat lads see an obvious reason for this that I’m not getting?
