For what government work schemes can you be granted a medical card for participating

    In the medical card criteria guidelines it says that you may be granted a medical card if you are participating in certain government work schemes but it doesn't outline which ones.

    probably to stop people signing up to do a course just to get a medical card.

    CE Scheme automatic medical card i believe regardless of other factors

    Think it's more a case of being able to retain existing medical card while on CE or Tus schemes.
