Advice on potable water tank please ?

We run a small bed & breakfast with 4 rooms en-suite.
We could be empty or all 4 bedrooms could be full with guests running showers or baths at the same time.
We have a 400l Joule hot water cylinder and a 250l Aquabox with an internal submersible pub.
I feel that the pump is too noisy and I turn it off with a timer every night.
I am contemplating a new potable tank outside.
What consideration are they to factor into this ?
    Size of tank?
    Overground or underground ?
    Internal or external pump?
    By-pass ?
    Any other factors ?
I searched the forum but did not find anything relevant !

    Thanks in advance.
