Hello internet!
We are in a pit of a pickle as we bought a house off plans in May 2018, however, it won't be finished by the time our mortgage approval expires in May 2019. We had a simple 6 month extension already but they will reassess from scratch if we don't close in time
The house is SOOO close to completion, we have everything except the Homebond cert (HB47). We will get this when ESB hook up power. It's totally done otherwise.
I really want to avoid reassessment!!!
I just want another month or two to get it over the line.
Does anyone have any experience of getting an extension after a year in a similar situation?
Is there any tips to help me?
