    Hi all
Was looking at a used Honda Civic at Denis Kinane Thurles. He’s offering a two year bumper to bumper warranty. What this covers I’m not entirely sure. Can anyone who has dealt with him pitch in. Does he stand over the warranty if something goes wrong?
    Thanks in advance

They’ve got a great reputation but their used cars are often comically overpriced.

When they say "bumper to bumper warranty" it sounds like "anything that isn't the driver's fault they'll fix"
    Will they though...
Don't trust pretty words, get everything on paper. And read the paper!

Toyota do a bumper to bumper used car warranty for example. Covers pretty much everything bar the clutch.

See if Denis will meet what Toyota says:
bumper to bumper warranty on mechanical components (with the exception of wear and tear items)
The warranty covers the cost of towing your vehicle to the nearest authorised repairer in the event of a breakdown

The details matter, one dealer may not cover what another will.
    Get details on paper.

I’d have no doubts as to the standard of the warranty tbh, but as mentioned you’ll pay enough for it.

There's was a sales person there who ensured I'll never walk in there again.

hondas don't need a warranty, if it can do a test drive ok it should be capable of going to the moon and back
