2 magic eyes?

howya peeps

Can i run two magic eyes of one Sky HD box?
one is working fine upstairs, but one hasnt a peep.
The magic eyes themselves seem fine, swopping them doesnt fix the problem

the lead from the RF output is soldered to the two others going to the two TVs with the eyes. Is this my problem?

any advice greatly appreciated!

The solder joint may not itself be the problem. Even if a proper splitter was used, one eye may not work. Sometimes both will work, most times not.

You need to get a link amplifier which is powered from the sky box or a regular powered distribution amplifier that allows power through to the eyes.

I had a simple splitter but that didnt work, as it was about 2€ i just assumed it was shįte so i soldered.

Yup as the lads here state get that. I’ve 5 TVs via magic eyes on one box
