I’m due to start maternity leave next month, am currently in receipt of illness benefit due to pregnancy-related issues and not paid a top up by work for either.

An agency I worked for last year have contacted me and said they underpaid me for some work I completed in 2018 and want to arrange to repay it to me. I know I can’t work while receiving IB or MB so is this going to cause an issue with SW if I get paid this outstanding money would anybody know? I can contact SW to try and find out but have never had much success getting through to IB section in the past with other queries

It would be the maternity benefit section you would be contacting, I have never had an issue getting them on the phone. I can't imagine there being an issue though, you aren't working or being paid for holidays, it's money owed and I am sure the agency would provide dates if needed.
