Speeding fine in France - maybe?

Wondering if anyone on here has had a similar experience.

Was in France for work towards the end of September last year - picked up a rental car from Hertz at CDG, and had to travel to central France that evening (about 5 hour drive).

Whilst driving the MWs around Paris, I triggered a speed camera, flash seen, etc. Speedo was reading around 115km/h, and limit was 100, so expected to receive a fine at some point.

About 2 weeks later I received an administrative charge from Hertz, for passing my details onto the authorities - but since then, nothing.

I'm guessing that one the French police received details showing it was a foreign licence they decided it would cost more to pursue than they'd recover - but still every time I pass passport control at CDG now I'm half expected to get pulled in over an unpaid fine :D

Anyone else have a situation where the rental company passed on your details, but the fine never arrived?
