Eir and moving house

    I'm one who has not really had an issue with Eir despite all the horror stories

    I'm moving house this weekend and have been told that it will take 2-3 weeks to get my broadband set up but that could be 4-6wks if previous tenant doesn't cancel his account at the gaff, trying to work on making sure tenant has actually cancelled

    Is this the right sort of timescale or is it unreasonable, anything that can be done to speed it up?

    Any short term solutions that can get us through until they get it on?
