New connection query

    Hi, I'm going to start building a house in the next month and have a few questions about it.

    First off, it's approx 60m from the road. We're going putting a roadway in and were going to lay water pipe alongside it. Would this be acceptable, to reduce costs?

    How long is it between requesting a connection and actually having the connection?

    Hi Captain Slow IRL,

    We would recommend that you submit a Pre-Connection Enquiry form so that the feasibility of connecting to the mains and associated costs can be assessed for you. This form can be found here.

    Each new connection will be assessed on an individual basis and therefore we are unable to provide a time-frame for you.

    Connection point will be adjacent to the public road, it is up to the applicant to lay any pipework from there
