We have god damned ants! :eek: we’ve never had ants in the almost 20 years I’ve been living in my home.

I was wondering why the hell the dirt between the slabs was being excavated. Just saw the bastard things. Where dadfuq did they come from?! :mad:

I concur to this poster. We had a serious infestation behind the walls in the kitchen, the 'Home Defence Ant Stop Bait Station' done the job. The only problem is that if you are infested on a big scale, then when the marcher ants eat it and bring it to the queen, they see that the queen is damaged/poisoned and they All come out directly into your space, they can be hundreds and also the flying ants with the wings do be trying to flap their wings to hop up high onto higher surfaces. They can't fly, but their wings allow then to flip up and around.

After being completely invaded by these insects, they will die all over the place so be ready for a clean-up. If your ant problem is not immediately dealt with, it can really get bad, best to nip it in the bud now.

We were unwilling hosts to a massive ant orgy during the hot weather last year. There were literal millions of flying ants on the patio. A quick google came up with talcum powder as a solution. I laid a firewall along the back door, made a big pentagram for luck and deployed the rest liberally around the patio. They were gone within 20 minutes.

Last week (on international flying ant day, or somesuch), a 50mile wide swarm that pinged weather radar, was heading to these Islands, from France.

i had a lad come out and fumigate the place - worked wonders. mating season so the queens and males come up from underground, out into yer house and then fly. they arent even after food.
