No thread yet? are ye all in the pub or something, remember those threads where people would be giving out like mad about the pubs being closed, I strangely miss them.

Anyway blatant copy and paste from RTE's website

This week's Late Late Show line-up has been revealed, with actor Adrian Dunbar and presenter Laura Whitmore among the guests.

Whitmore will be joined on the couch by the editor-in-chief of US Glamour, Samantha Barry. The long-time friends will talk to host Ryan Tubridy about their beginnings in Bray and Ballincollig, why it's important for women to support each other, and their careers in the media industry.

Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar will also be in studio taking a look back at his acting career and reflecting on his experiences growing up in Northern Ireland.

In 2017, an action plan to positively develop rural Ireland was launched, with former Kerry footballer Pat Spillane appointed to work with local communities and relay concerns back to the government. Two years on, Pat joins Tubridy to discuss if enough is being done to save rural Ireland.

Portarlington native Fr Sean Hyland had a successful career as an electrical engineer, but after the deaths of his two children Seana and Ciaran, and then the death of his wife Liz, he decided to become a priest in his 60s.

Similarly, Niall McDonagh’s journey to find faith came about following a string of family tragedies, when the death of his brother, father and cousin left him bereft. Fr Sean and Niall join Tubridy to chat about grief and why they turned to religion to cope.

Dessie Fitzgerald was a talented hurler living an ordinary, happy life when a spate of life-changing events in one year led him to hit rock bottom. Dessie joins Tubridy to discuss how he lost two brothers and suffered a spinal cord injury during a hurling semi-final; and why he’s now committed to moving forward and embracing every second of life.

World Naked Bike Ride is an annual, worldwide event that highlights the vulnerability of cyclists on the roads, with full or partial nudity encouraged and participants urged to "bare as you dare". To celebrate the event in Cork on the 8th of June, there will be 16 cyclists in their birthday suits riding through the Late Late Show studio.

Musical performances from Gavin James and Cork band True Tides will also feature.

Had Christ livestreamed his own crucifixion it would have made for more uplifting viewing.

I'm no prude and I'm a fan of nudism at appropriate times... but this is literally pornography. It's not for prime time tv.

A bit of paint is meant to make it ok to be completely naked? I'm also tired of people using "charity" as an excuse for questionable behaviour.

Do you think it would get even 5% of the media attention if the attention seeking element of it was not there?>

Not bragging but I've 49 adult channels and dozens of vods available on my tv at any time, I think I'm pretty clued up. Any time a naked body is nude and there is a sexual component to it - as acknowledged by Tubridy and several others - that's pornography.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,945 ✭✭✭✭Beechwoodspark

    absolute rubbish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74,283 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

They should end 'Line Of Duty' like the final episode of 'The Prisoner'...making absolutely no sense whatsoever.
