    Anyone know the average gestation lenght of the breed?

    Always thought they were 280 days average

    288 days. 1/2 day more than herdfords.

    The Blonde I had was touching 300 days alot of the time.I am looking for something shorter as he will be sweeping after AI. Blues are probably too rich for my pocket but 283_285 days would be ideal

    These are the values from ICBF, sept 2018.
    How about a Saler, only 1/2 day more than the Angus and easy calving too.
