    Evening
    I'm nearly 40,with green cert done,oul lad 75,I'm wondering what can I avail of by getting the farm or partner in it..any info greatly appreciated

    I suppose it would be best to speak to a solicitor or your advisor about this.
    1. As a young trained farmer you can avoid paying stamp duty of 1% of the farms estimated value on transfer which in itself could be incentive to look into this ASAP.
    2. TAMS grants of 60% could be applied for before you turn 40.
    3. You could potentially receive a top up of entitlements as a young trained farmer if you have any land that doesn't have entitlements.
    4. You would receive an annual young farmer grant for your last year or years, depending on your actual age.

    Very basic run of some options there that I have come across. More detailed information online in relation to this.
