    Hi all!
I’m planning on buying a used car from an official Toyota dealership. I’m just wondering what I could reasonably expect them to reduce the price by if I haggle?
I have no idea what I should aim to get the price reduced by. The car’s listed cash price is €16,500 and I’ll be buying with cash.
    Thanks!

Buying with finance is much more profitable for the dealership.

I’m going to buy with cash because it means less cost for me!

You could offer them 14k and see how you get on..you won't know til you try

Ok thanks! I’ll try that. I wasn’t sure whether I could expect a few hundred off or whether anything over €1000 off would be unrealistic.

How well priced is the car compared to similar cars elsewhere? There is no hard or fast rule around what discount you can get as there are lots of factors involved.

As above, there’s no rules, it would be unusual for a Toyota dealer to build in 2500 discount and still have a competitive asking price.
