I've a 07 Renault Scenic, 1.5 diesel recently i've noticed its hard to start, i got a full service done checked the main things and theres no faults, fuel filter changed and still made no difference

When i try and start it the engine will try and turn over and eventually it will start and the parking brake fault will appear on the dash

but when it runs its fine no loss of power or any issues and the parking brake works fine

    any suggestions

Does the glowplug light stay on for long when you turn on the ignition?

it stays on while the engine is trying to turn over then goes out, the garage said there was no faults with the gloplugs

These don't need glow plugs to start anyway (no semi modern diesel does) it's likely you have an injector leaking off too much fuel so the car is struggling to reach its starting pressure while cranking
