    Saab 93 fsh 100k mls 150bhp
BMW 320 se 110kmls some service history
    Volve v50 r design 200k km only 1. 6 thou
Alfa 159 SW couldn't find a 'right one' in budget
wanted a Skoda SCOUT but they were over budget.

If anyone has seen or is selling a 'sporty' estate Or has any pointers for the above feel free to shout.

If you like the Saab then I’d get that. Don’t spend all your budget

Of the bunch it's the BMW for me.

Engine is fairly bullet proof ..parts freely available.

Large space in it. And a great drive

E91 has a very well designed suspention. But the rest?! The N47 engine bullet proof? Spacious?!

The wife had a 520d with the n47 that was great, it rolled over 320000km thou so we traded it in. It had full service history thou, 320 touring would be my first choice but I can't find an uncrashed one with a solid history...

A V50 is very small, in estate real estate anyway
    BMW servicing? Ouch

    Saab all the way

That's very expensive. You regularly see 07/08 ones for under 2k.

Yes the N47 is pretty bulletproof.

    Yes.

And yes the E46 estate is spacious.
