I recently gained employment in the South, currently going through the process of setting up an ROI Bank Acc. etc.. I'm trying to apply for a PAYE no. or Tax number but due to having no PPS no. I'm finding it difficult to apply online.

Can anyone share any experiences on this?

    Thanks in advance.

Could your NI Bank help you open an account in their ROI associated bank?

I currently bank with Santander. Not an issue I don't think setting up a bank Acc, more the setting up of a PPS/Tax no.

Your PPS number will double as your tax number. You need to get that sorted first.

A PPS no is a tax number.

    You need to get one.
