Thermal cover for downlights with rigid insulation

I have an attic conversion and have identified some heat loss around the openings where the led down lights are. Now I know there is thermal downlight covers available however most documentation I can with regards to the installation is with soft insulation like earthwool, etc..

I have 50mm insulated slabs on the conversion ceiling, 50mm running between the rafters and then a layer below it with the slab, so am wondering what would be the best way to install the downlight covers?

Also, just to check what way should those downlights be typically cabled as I believe the cables are running over the insulation and under the roof felt?
