Air to water or geo thermal

Has anybody any experience with Air to Water heat pumps rusting near when installed near the coast? I'm getting ready to start my house but am trying to out together the budget so need to figure this out. 2 suppliers have said they would recommend geo considering how close I am to the coast and another supplier has said…

2 suppliers have said they would recommend geo considering how close I am to the coast and another supplier has said that modern coatings on the systems are very good so there shouldn't be a problem.

Has anybody here experience with this?
