Millenials in the USA

I havnt been to the states for a while. Last time I was there everyone was still dancing to country music out in a field, driving a 5 litre V8, talking on the CB and had an arsenal fit to win a war at home.

But despite Trumps best efforts from what I'm reading the whole thing has been turned on its arse. Apparently these millenials (a.k.a fellas my own age) now take pride in not owning anything and spend their entire salary on monthly subscription fees, 'ubers' and 'experiences'. Many of them also claim to be 'vegetarians' which is scary sh1t altogether. These same millenials apparently also live out the bulk of their life through their smartphones and see laptops, desktop computers and tellyboxes as inferior and old fashioned.

Anyone here been to the states recently and witnessed this phenomenon for themselves?
